In a nutshell
You will be responsible for managing and optimizing our Workday environment, ensuring seamless operations while supporting our Finance team’s needs, such as procurement, expenses, integrations, and reporting. The ideal candidate will also be able to support the improvement of HR processes (like absences, compensation). This role will split time equally between operational support and project-based work, with a focus on improving processes, automating workflows, and realizing robust and scalable solutions that support our dynamic business environment.
Tricks of the trade
- Workday expertise: As a domain expert in Workday Finance, you’ll support the implementation and ongoing enhancement of Finance modules like Core, Procurement, and Expenses.
- Operations: You'll manage daily operations, address urgent issues, and offer friendly, hands-on support through ticketing systems to keep everything running smoothly.
- Enablement: You'll gather business requirements, understand stakeholder needs, and lead the design, configuration, and deployment of new projects and system enhancements.
- Stakeholder support: You’ll train and support key stakeholders, including Finance and People teams, helping them optimize Workday’s functionalities to improve operational efficiency.
- Expansion: Assist in expanding Workday infrastructure to new locations.
We’re looking for
- 5+ years of experience with Workday Financial management modules. Experience in HCM modules is a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of Workday Core Financials and good knowledge of- and experience with the following modules: Banking & settlement, Expenses.
- Experience in driving and delivering the implementation of new business processes in Workday Finance. Experience with Workday PRISM is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling you to translate business requirements into sustainable Workday solutions.
- Experience with Workday dashboards and reporting analytics is a plus.
- Experience in the Design and Development of Finance Integrations (i.e., PECI, CCW, EIB, Workday Studio) is a plus.
- Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus, but not required)
- Workday certification(s) are preferred but not required
