Bol develops an inspiring marketing solution throughout the entire funnel, both off-site and on-site. This offers our partners the opportunity to build their brand, attract new customers, or increase brand awareness. We inspire consumers with the right content and support them by prominently displaying relevant assortment. Additionally, we provide marketing colleagues with tools to develop relevant messages for the right customers, allowing us to reach and convince more people.
You’ll shape and define the future of marketing and advertising solutions. Both on our platform, and beyond. Success calls for a broad perspective and the ability to identify the biggest opportunities and pain points, and to translate those into a concrete vision. You’ll incorporate new marketing and advertising solutions, such as social commerce, and think of ways to integrate those within our ecosystem. You’ll contribute to both front-end choices (what will consumers see?) and back-end decisions (how do we make it work?). You’ll also focus on making tools usable and accessible for advertisers and colleagues.
Thanks to your solid design and discovery skills, you can make this vision concrete and get buy-in from internal stakeholders. In this role, you’ll work with the Group Product Manager, PMs, engineers, and analysts from Marketing & Advertising, as well as those from consumer and partner journey teams. Your projects will typically span across domains. One of the attractive aspects is the variety of topics. From discovery for consumer and advertiser problems (including devising solutions) to increasing the relevance of (product) results, results validation, product roll-ups, and integration of paid results. Your key responsibilities:
You combine 7+ years of work experience with 4+ years of specialized UX/UI experience in e-commerce. Your portfolio shows how you analyze and tackle design challenges. You know how to translate design vision into concrete plans and can bring stakeholders along, even when they are critical. You have strong UX/interaction design skills. You’re also familiar with product discovery, design thinking, experimentation, A/B testing, and user research. As a team player, you can listen well and provide constructive pushback, actively seeking connections with other designers and adjacent teams.
You’ll land in the Marketing & Advertising department, part of the group product Awareness Marketing. You’ll work with a diverse group of great colleagues, such as Data Analysts, Data Scientists, Product Owners, Visual/Product/UX Designers, and Frontend/Backend Engineers. You report to the Head of Design Core I and II and are part of her Design Team and the broader Design Community. The setting is professional but informal; we believe in continuously improving what we do and aren’t afraid to experiment. You’ll have all the freedom to develop and implement your design vision in an environment where impact is central.
