About the role

Do you want to spearhead projects that bring real value to our customers? As our Project Lead, you’ll be at the heart of the action: managing projects from start to finish. You are the one helping our customers be successful and driving the impact they want to make!

You will be at the forefront, solving customer drone challenges and helping customers integrate our cutting-edge Avy drone technology into their day-to-day operations.

You collaborate across departments such as Sales, Customer Support, Regulations & Compliance, Flight Operations, and Engineering to ensure projects run smoothly and deliver real results. This role blends project management, account management and customer success, making you a central player to maximize impact for our customers. The role sits within Customer Success and reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer.

What you'll be doing

In this role, you will lead multiple high-impact, complex, and concurrent projects from start to finish. You’ll take ownership of the full project lifecycle, including scoping, planning, execution, delivery, and aftercare.

A key part of your work involves driving continuous improvement in our project delivery systems. You will monitor and report on project progress, budgets, outcomes, and potential risks, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout. Acting as a strategic partner and account manager, you’ll align our solutions with customer goals while collaborating closely with internal teams and external partners across technology, operations, and regulatory domains.

Your ability to build trust with stakeholders at all levels, both inside and outside of Avy, will be essential to your success.

Requirements

• Exceptional skills in managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects from end to end;
• Strong communication abilities across diverse internal and external stakeholder groups;
• A business- and customer-oriented mindset, with a drive to deliver meaningful outcomes;
• Proven track record of getting things done in fast-paced, high-complexity environments;
• The ability to balance daily execution with strategic thinking;
• Experience in stakeholder and change management, with the ability to influence and lead across functions.

Competencies

We are looking for someone with at least 6+ years of complex project or program management experience. Affinity with emerging technologies and emergency response markets is of great value. Also important;

• Strong proficiency in English (Dutch is a big plus!);
• Background in a high-tech or scale-up environment is preferred;
• Willingness to occasionally travel internationally.
