The Job

As a Solutions Lead at GroupM Nexus (Amsterdam), you will be a key player in driving innovation and growth within our Solutions team. This role focuses on Advanced Digital Out of Home (60% of your time) and emerging solutions (e.g. commerce, gaming, connected TV and more), leading the development and design, and scaling of impactful media solutions for our clients. You will work closely with the Emerging Solutions Director, and key stakeholders to translate strategic vision into scalable solutions, contributing to client forecasts and team success.

Specifically, this role will have a strong focus on developing and advancing our digital out-of-home (DOOH) capabilities, exploring innovative approaches to programmatic DOOH, audience targeting, creative optimization, and measurement. You will also have the opportunity to explore and contribute to the development of other emerging solutions within the addressable advertising ecosystem with the goal to drive growth for our organization.

Responsibilities

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Solution Development & Innovation:

  • Lead the design and development of emerging solutions within, with a strong emphasis on programmatic DOOH strategies.
  • Design and execute test-and-learn strategies to validate and enhance our current value propositions.
  • Identify and evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and partnership opportunities to enhance solution development and drive business growth.
  • Contribute to the development of other emerging solutions, as needed.

Strategic Insights & Market Analysis:

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer demands, and competitive landscapes within Advanced DOOH & Emerging Solutions and the broader addressable advertising ecosystem.
  • Support the innovation process with comprehensive insights and recommendations.

Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration:

  • Build strong relationships with agency stakeholders to understand client needs and opportunities, and to validate the value proposition.
  • Collaborate with our Implementation Lead and Programmatic Lead to drive the effective implementation of solutions.
  • Collaborate with the OOH Lead and Trading & Investment team to ensure operational excellence and profitability of solutions.

Solutions Delivery & Performance Management:

  • Lead the delivery of market-ready solutions, including Proof of Concept testing, validation, Go-To-Market deployment and agency engagement plans.
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess the success and impact of solutions.
  • Continuously assess and communicate the value that solutions bring to clients, demonstrating their impact on client success and satisfaction.

Thought Leadership:

  • Act as Nexus Media Solutions Ambassador for your respective solution and our business model, share knowledge and best practices with the team and across the organization.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree or equivalent level of education
  • Practical and strategic experience in digital marketing and advertising
  • Experience in (programmatic) out of home is preferred
  • 4-6 years of work experience in Online Advertising/Technology on the agency or client side
  • Strong analytical, results-oriented, proactive, and communicative skills (English is the working language)
  • Familiarity with DSPs (such as Google Ads, DV360, Xandr, Amazon Ads, etc.) is a plus
  • Team player, but also capable of working independently
