We are looking for a Senior Controller – Corporate Management Accounting to join our high-performing Business Control team. In this key role, you’ll consolidate, interpret and report on financial data from across Corbion’s global operations, providing critical input to strategic decision-making at the highest levels, and drive continuous improvement in our finance processes.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and consolidate financial forecasts, budgets, and strategic scenarios from all business areas.
• Analyze financial performance (variances, trends) and provide clear, actionable insights and advice to senior management.
• Influence cross functionally to ensure reporting accuracy and completeness, prepare relevant insights and drive value creation.
• Prepare financial reporting for the Executive Committee and Audit Committee, and contribute to external communications (press releases, investor presentations, annual reports).
• Measure, interpret, and communicate foreign exchange exposures and their business impact.
• Manage cost control for corporate departments (e.g. IT, HR, Finance, Legal, Holding) and financial process improvements, in close collaboration with department leads.
• Drive stewardship and improvements in financial information systems (SAP S/4HANA, Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud).
• Maintain financial master data in collaboration with the broader Finance team and payroll planning data (forecast, budget) in collaboration with HR.

About you

Education and qualifications

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• RA/RC qualification (or equivalent) preferred.

Experience

• Around 10 years of experience in controlling, including sales, marketing and manufacturing finance.
• Background in audit (Big 4 experience) is preferred.
• Expertise in in-depth financial analysis, interpreting and preparing financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cashflow) and business cases (DCF models).
• Experience working in a multinational, multi-currency environment.
• Previous experience supporting corporate headquarters functions is highly valued.

Technical skills

• Strong ERP systems experience (SAP S/4HANA preferred).
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
• Expertise with management reporting tools and dashboards (Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud).

Language requirements

• Fluent in English; Dutch language skills are an advantage.

Who you’ll work with

You will report to the VP Business Control and be part of the Global Business Control Leadership Team. You’ll work closely with finance teams around the world, corporate department heads, and directly support the Executive Committee. Your work will help steer Corbion’s strategy and ensure that financial rigor supports our mission of preserving what matters. You will be based at one of our Dutch offices (Amsterdam or Gorinchem) and will regularly visit the other location.
