Associate Opportunity at Pride Capital Partners

Pride Capital Partners is an investment company that supports later-stage software and IT companies. We offer a combination of debt and equity solutions to finance growth, acquisition, or MBO transactions. We are looking for an ambitious associate who would like to join us in Amsterdam and help grow our business activities in the Benelux region.

What you will do

As an associate, you will be highly involved in all aspects of the deal-making process. The work includes generating deal flow, business analysis, and general team support. This involves the following activities:

• Deal execution, from initial contact to closing
• Involvement with existing portfolio companies
• Identifying and proactively addressing interesting companies
• Preparation and elaboration of pitch presentations
• In-depth analysis of specific markets and relevant players in the software environment
• Analysis and explanation of business information and preparation of financial models (balance sheet, P&L, and cash flow statement)
• Preparation of investment and financing proposals to be presented in our weekly team meeting
• Approaching network partners (e.g., corporate finance consultants, PE investors, etc.)
• Preparation of quarterly reports for our investors

What you offer

• A completed master's degree
• 2-3 years of relevant work experience (in strategy consulting, corporate finance, or private equity)
• Very good knowledge of financial modelling, balance sheet, and P&L analysis
• Affinity with software & IT
• The ability to identify problems and the drive to develop tailored solutions
• You have social skills to cooperate with other professionals in- and outside the organization
• You can work independently, but you also have the skills to work effectively as part of a team and guide analysts and interns.
• Characteristics such as eagerness to learn, entrepreneurial, ambitious, and flexibility are perfect for you
• You have an excellent command of the Dutch and English language in word and writing
