Using underwater inspection drones and cleaning robots, we provide our international shipping clients with unique solutions for ship maintenance. This contributes directly to reducing emissions and fostering a cleaner environment. As an International Business Developer, you will maintain strong relationships with existing clients while expanding our client base with new companies. You will travel worldwide to visit clients, measure their satisfaction, answer questions, and gather suggestions. You will also attend conferences and events where potential clients are present, identify new international prospects, and convert them into customers. You will understand their needs, objectives, and challenges, keep them informed about developments, explore new collaboration opportunities, and offer tailored solutions. You will share insights based on customer feedback and your own market observations with internal teams to ensure our services align with market demands. Collaborating with internal teams, you will ensure we meet our promises and obligations while negotiating contract renewals and price adjustments. Your goal? To establish long-term partnerships and exceed expectations!

Job Requirements

You enjoy maintaining long-term, international client relationships. You are proactive, identify opportunities, and act on them. You communicate effectively and efficiently, conveying ideas and information clearly both orally and in writing. You are eager to contribute to improving our services, work processes, customer quality, or communication. Our clients are located worldwide, and you are comfortable with frequent travel.

For the International Business Developer role, we require the following:

• A minimum of a completed bachelor’s or master’s degree in a commercial or technical field.
• At least three years of experience in a similar role within the maritime sector.
• Experience with complex sales processes.
• Proficiency in Dutch and English (preferably a third language such as Greek or an Asian language).
• A valid driver’s license (Category B).
