The Opportunity:

The Team:

We work in agile squads with a mix of Dev and Ops engineers. The squad has a product owner and customer journey expert. With them we work on epics features and user stories for the ING Cash applications in ING Branches and ING Service Points. We develop REST api’s and lit-HTML and web components for our web apps in sprints of 2 weeks.

We have 100% automated testing and have implemented continuous delivery

We are front runners in implementing continuous delivery. We automated all our testing and if required can do daily multiple deployments of working software.

Roles and Responsibilities

• You are expected to code from the requirements gathered and will conduct research when required.
• You will be actively involved with stakeholders within the team and from other teams in solving issues.
• You challenge the architecture and design solutions and bring ideas to stakeholders about improvements and connections.
• You understand the steps and underlying concepts in the build & deployment process from commit to production
• You are able to implement API authentication & authorization protocols

• Good knowledge of and experience with continuous integration (Azure DevOps) and delivery tools (Ansible, Docker)
• Improving yourself by continuously being innovative and challenging others in the team to do the same
• Have experience in developing highly available and high performing and secure software systems
• Being a good Front End developer who knows how to implement maintainable and modular reusable web components in JavaScript
• Are experienced in unit testing system testing and integration testing with lit-HTML and web components in JavaScript
• Translating business wishes or problems to clear and easy-to-implement user stories
• Experience in the use of Spring and Oracle databases and experience in connecting to legacy systems
• Experience or knowledge of Containerized processing and (public) cloud processing
• Clear and to the point verbal communication also in writing at least in English and preferably also in the Dutch language
• Being able to act as a technical lead in an Agile team

Hybrid working squad

The target squad is currently situated in the Amsterdam HBP location. We are working in hybrid mode. We plan to work together for about 2 days in the week in Amsterdam. The other days you can work from home.
