About the job:

The Infrastructure Network Engineering department consists of 10 employees and its overall purpose is to maintain, operate and develop Saxo's LAN, WAN, remote offices, and datacenters across the globe.

As our new Senior Network Specialist, you report directly to the Infrastructure Network Manager and among other tasks you will be responsible for:

• Major/critical Incident handling.
• Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval, and success of changes made to the network infrastructure.
• Provide 2nd/3rd level support on network-related issues globally.
• Maintain, develop, and automate our WAN, LAN, and Cloud Networks.
• Design and implement automation tasks and monitor their effectiveness.
• Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.

Your Profile:

As a person, you come across as a well-motivated team player with a high drive to learn and explain complicated technical solutions. You work well in an organization of high delivery pace and strive to finish projects within the agreed timeline.

Further, we are looking for a candidate with the following professional competencies:

• Network certification at CCNP or higher level or equivalent.
• Familiarity or hands-on programming experience with some scripting languages and network deployment tools/models such as Power Shell, Python, JSON, Yang, Openflow, REST, and Netconf.
• Firewall and Network maintenance planning, upgrades, and deployment.
• Deep understanding of networking technologies (e.g., IPSEC, 802.1X, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, QoS).
• Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic, and network analytics tools.
• Troubleshooting skills on Routing and Switching, IPsec VPN.
• Proficiency in routing protocols, especially BGP and OSPF, and Access Control Lists (ACL) concepts.
• Preferable network automation experience.
• Fluent in English (Corporate language and used every day in the department).
