To support ASML’s long term objectives we need to be aware of capability decisions in our integral supply chain we have to take today and in the future and what the impact of those decisions is. The P&D Strategic Capability department does this by translating business targets and constraints, customer demand scenarios and technology roadmaps into decision roadmaps to support ASML’s top management in making conscious and well informed capability investment choices.

Within the department the Supply Chain team manages the most strategic and critical supply chains, modules and capacity groups via focus projects, in close x-sector collaboration with SS&P (Strategic Sourcing & Procurement), D&E, BL, finance and other P&D departments.

Role and responsibilities

Within P&D The Program Manager Strategic Supply Capacity Preparation Supply Chain owns and drives individual focus projects that need to be conducted to realize the capability step up in the global supply chain under triple constraints. In this position you will look at the strategic horizon. You will deliver integral, option-based plans required to secure timely capability step ups for the focus projects. Contribute to the decision calendar to take the necessary decision to secure the capability step ups and set up an unbiased assessment of the execution of the program portfolio leading to the step-ups. You will also trigger corrective action in case capability step-ups are not met in time

Your main responsibilities are:

  • Driving multiple focus projects and multi sectoral team members, making sure that overall program objectives will be achieved from a global perspective
  • Timely deliver milestones and coordinate activities to achieve on-time completion of focus projects
  • Deliver the needed decisions in time to the right decision body
  • Oversee and support cross-sectoral critical paths and risks, being aware of the (high) risks and able to mitigate these risks
  • Review the design of the strategic capability plan and support in communication the strategic capability plan to relevant stakeholders. All relevant sectors are among the stakeholder field: the different business lines, manufacturing, sourcing and supply chain, corporate real estate, D&E
  • Facilitate strategies to timely take decisions and keep open multiple options as long as feasible, including risk assessment and related business benefits
  • Manage conflicting interests between stakeholders, keep all stakeholders aligned
  • Responsible for communication and confirmation of LTMC capacity request towards SS&P stakeholders

Education and experience

  • Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Data management, Decision Support or similar preferred or equivalent experience
  • Relevant work experience in similar roles with international scope
  • Experience in high tech, low volume, capital intensive industries preferred
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship building skills
  • Conceptual thinker on strategic level

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
