Computer Science Internship: Implementation of Alignment Database

Introduction

The Business Line Applications (BL Apps) is part of ASML's Product Alignment department and extends holistic lithography solutions by developing products that work alongside our lithography systems to help them perform better and improve the patterning process. We design, develop, integrate, market and service application products, which enable our customers to reduce the size and increase the functionality of their microchips. As an intern, you will get the chance to collect alignment measurement data and analyze the data. The internship offers an exciting opportunity to support the Product Alignment department and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment.

Your Assignment

You will focus on the following key responsibilities:

• Collect alignment measurement data;
• Code the database to automate the storing of data;
• Create a way-of-working and a manual for the new system;
• Create awareness and train stakeholders about the usage of the new database.

This is a HBO or Master's (apprentice) internship for at least 6 months for 5 days a week (3 days onsite). The start date of this internship is as soon as possible.

Your profile

To be a fit for this assignment, you:

• Are a HBO/Master student in IT, Computer Science, Data Science, or similar;
• Have knowledge of SQL and MATLAB;
• Have affinity with knowledge about semiconductor processes;
• Are outgoing, proactive, well-organized, stress resilient;
• Have great communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

Other requirements you need to meet

• You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship;
• You need to be located in the Netherlands to perform your internship. In case you’re currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter includes the willingness to relocate.
• If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
