Your impact at MUFG

You will support primarily the Team Heads in GCIB Benelux (the GCIB NL Platform Manager, the Head of Benelux Corporate Coverage and the Head of FI MBE), and also, as need, the Products Team Heads, on all daily business such as key meeting preparation and schedules, organising events, travel booking and refunds. You will be a key pillar for the team in our initiatives to improve MUFG visibility and brand positioning in The Netherlands, incl. marketing activities and client reception. You will also take care of the internal administrative task required, including certain reporting to London where applicable.

The role includes the following:

  • Organise client and internal meetings (physically as well as over videoconferencing) and be first point of contact for visitors, coordinating with the different business lines at the Bank and developing a good relationship with the assistants of our corporate clients and our other internal departments, incl. other MUFG EMEA branches.
  • Coordinate the Senior Management visits (Heads of GCIB EMEA, GCIB EU and others) to Amsterdam and building a strong partnership with their P.A.
  • Create and update on a regular basis data bases to be used e.g. for transaction pipeline management or a more active sharing of marketing information that would contribute to increase MUFG brand positioning as well as coordinate with internal communications to gather materials.
  • Prepare and manage business trips, coordinating with the travel agency and with GCIB Management (as may be applicable) to gather all approvals on time.
  • Manage the administration and follow-up of the budget expense assigned to GCIB teams, alerting the respective Head of expected or potential deviations.
  • Take care of the regular reporting of specific requests coming from Amsterdam, London such as: schedule of client meetings and activity reports.
  • Take care of the regular printing and binding of client pitches, as requested by the EMEA front office / product teams and taking initiatives to improve the quality of the marketing materials.
  • Support GCIB teams in specific back or middle office request when needed.
  • Provide proactive support of GCIB on internal and external presentations / run market research and collect internal input from product teams.
  • Provide ideas on how job related processes can be processed more efficiently.
  • Support external and internal marketing.
  • Assist in daily office management in Amsterdam and be first point of contact for internal and external service providers.

In order to be successful in the role, you will need the following:

Skills and experience:

  • Higher level degree of education in University or equivalent
  • 3-5 years’ work experience in a similar position.
  • Language skills: English and Dutch (fluent and professional level)
  • Software skills: PowerPoint (ability to deliver high impact pitches), Excel, Word, Outlook, MS-Teams
