Your Challenge as Manual Test Engineer

Our software solutions have been developed to support our international government clients in Small Island Development States (SIDS), including Curaçao, Bonaire, Aruba, Anguilla, Grenada, and St. Kitts & Nevis. We take pride in our contribution to the digital transformation of the public sector.

As a Manual Test Engineer at Blyce, your main responsibility is to perform thorough manual tests on our fascinating, large-scale, and complex applications that are essential to our clients' digital transformation. Your keen attention to detail and commitment to delivering the highest quality make a significant impact.

In short, this is a dynamic role packed with responsibility and challenges! Your mission? Ensuring the excellence of our software solutions.

But that's not all. If you're eager to take on more than just testing and have a strong sense of responsibility, we also offer the opportunity to step into a team coordinator role. In this position, you'll mentor and guide a small team of 1-3 testers, while also overseeing tasks like conducting risk analyses, and creating test plans and reports.

Your Team

You will join a dynamic, international, and multidisciplinary product team, working together to ensure the successful delivery of the product. Additionally, you will be part of our Test Team, which includes 17 colleagues from across the Netherlands, Curaçao, Suriname, Colombia, Poland, and Canada. In this team, we share our knowledge and passion for testing, continuously striving to raise the organization's standards.

What We Offer

• The possibility to work in one of our offices: Rotterdam, Deventer, Curaçao, Bonaire, or Medellín (Colombia).
• A competitive gross starting salary ranging from EUR 4,500 to 6,000 per month (depending on experience and full-time employment in the Netherlands).
• 28 vacation days with the option to buy/sell 8 additional days per year.
• 8.33% vacation pay per year.
• Variable gross compensation equal to an extra month’s salary per year (paid monthly).
• Fixed gross expense allowance of €300 per month.
• Annual variable reward based on company performance.

Job requirements

What do we need from you?

• You have an HBO work- and thinking level;
• You have 5+ years of experience as a manual tester;
• You have an ISTQB or TMAP certificate;
• A Test Manager certificate is a plus;
