Introduction
ASML is the world's leading provider of lithography systems for the semiconductor industry, manufacturing complex machines that are critical to the production of integrated circuits or chips. We utilize Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to ensure the optimal environmental conditions of the optical components in its machines to maximize output, expand lifetime and minimize service intervals.
Within the Flow Modelling community at ASML, we would like to explore Reduced Order Model (ROM) techniques applied to data derived from CFD in multiphase flows. This internship assignment aims to investigate the physics of the problem and generate data in a structured and organized way.
Your tasks and responsibilities may include:
This is a bachelor or master internship, suitable for both an apprenticeship and a graduation (thesis) project. The desired duration is 6 months or more, working 5 days a week (3 days onsite). The start date is as soon as possible or at the latest around September 2025.
