As an Integrator, you are qualifying and integrating various electronic modules and sub-systems in safety systems, machine automation, analog circuits, sensors, actuators, and communication lines. With your skillset and a systematic way of thinking, you contribute to new machine developments with the aim of zero defects and no surprises for internal and external customers. You will work in close cooperation with other integrators, design engineers and architects within your team, but also gain a broad network throughout the company.

Role and responsibilities

The Integrator is responsible for the following:

  • Operate as an Electronics Development representative in a multidisciplinary team;
  • Influence the definition and design of electronic developments on topics such as diagnostics, testability, manufacturability and reliability;
  • Make work breakdowns and effort estimation for the integration of the various electronic products; specify and document the test requirements;
  • Design and document test setups such as Siemens SIMIT test benches and qualification tools for integration purposes;
  • Execute experiments on standalone prototypes, test set-ups or EUV machines to ensure that the documented results meet the requirements set by the architect;
  • Work together with the EMC competence to perform tests on subsystem level;
  • With your early gained knowledge on system behavior, contribute to solving problems during full proto integration;
  • Transfer knowledge towards Production and Service engineers and act as an expert (4th line support);
  • Analyze and solve reliability issues via a systematic and first principles thinking approach;
  • Act as a technical coach for other integrators and team members.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Earlier experience in a similar position is required;
  • Solid technical knowledge of electronics with interest in physics, mechanics, and software;
  • Experience with Siemens S7 PLC controller hardware, SIMIT and remote IO stations is a plus;
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python and SCL;
  • Comfortable in using test- and measurement equipment;
  • Experience in Safety standards is a plus.

The sector Development & Engineering (D&E) of ASML is responsible for the specification, design and realization of the products in the ASML portfolio. Within the sector D&E the department Electronic Development (EDEV) is responsible for the definition, realization, qualification and integration of electronic functions and modules.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
