SAP Consultant (Freelance)

As an SAP FICO Consultant specializing in Finance, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing, designing, and implementing SAP solutions to improve the way in which our Finance team works with SAP. Ideally, you will also have experience with Inventory management and building a robust methodology for stock valuation.

You will:

• Partner with the Finance team to understand current way of working with SAP, how this can be improved and then implementing the necessary changes;
• Review and solve backlog of Finance SAP tickets;
• Be responsible for co-ordinating Finance related activities in relation to the SAP Rise migration project;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements related to inventory valuation and translate them into SAP solutions;
• Configure and customize the SAP Inventory module to meet the specific needs of the business, ensuring scalability and efficiency;
• Work closely with IT, Finance, and supply chain teams to integrate the SAP Inventory module with other SAP modules and third-party systems;
• Develop and maintain real-time inventory tracking and reporting tools within SAP to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, workflows, and best practices.

You have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience as an SAP Consultant with a strong focus on Finance and Inventory (IM) modules.
• Prior experience in the e-commerce or retail industry is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with other SAP modules such as FICO (Financial Accounting and Controlling), MM (Materials Management).
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
