Are you a R&D engineer with a passion for hands-on creativity, ready to make your mark in a groundbreaking R&D environment? Look no further – at Allseas R&D, located in the vibrant tech hub of Eindhoven, we are on the lookout for a talented individual to join our multidisciplinary team.

At Allseas R&D Eindhoven, we are not just pioneers; we are disruptors in the field of offshore technologies. As an integral part of Allseas Engineering, we combine the financial stability of a major industry player with the agility and innovation of a small, startup-inspired team. Our Eindhoven office serves as the hub for cutting-edge R&D, focusing on crafting specialized equipment tailored for the challenges of the offshore environment.

Your Role

As an R&D Engineer Welding you will join our welding development team, where you will get the opportunity to translate the latest insights from academia into practical solutions. Faced with an ever-changing industry and ever-increasing requirements for our welding processes, we believe that in-house research is essential to stay at the forefront of our industry. Together with our multi-disciplinary team you will work at streamlining our welding processes head-to-toe, connecting project preparation, weld application and non-destructive testing, ultimately achieving optimal (and consistent) material properties of our welded products. To support you in this endeavor, we provide access to our in-house testing and fabrication facilities, as well as to our unique (and proprietary) non-destructive testing and data acquisition systems.

What We Expect From You

  • MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering or Materials Science;
  • 0-4 years relevant experience;
  • Strong analytical skills and technical insight;
  • Creative and resilient mind-set;
  • Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
