How do you make our customers happy?

By translating strategic ambitions into measurable results for 13.5 million customers and 47k partners. As Strategic Program Manager, you’ll drive our strategy execution process by connecting organization-wide objectives to concrete actions through our OKR framework. How should we communicate and achieve annual objectives? How should we ensure adoption across the organization? And how should we measure progress? Working closely with the Head of Corporate Development, you’ll ensure our strategy doesn’t just exist on paper but drives measurable results.

Establishing a scalable strategy execution process in a fluid environment. Success requires combining two key elements: process excellence and strategic acumen. You’ll translate organizational ambitions into specific OKRs while engaging a diverse field of stakeholders. How can you balance departmental needs with the best interests of bol as a whole? How can you help teams set the right priorities? Success requires the drive to set the direction and unite people behind strategic objectives, ensuring measurable results year after year.

What you'll do as Strategic Program Manager

As right-hand to the Head of Corporate Development, you’ll coordinate our strategy execution. You’ll work closely with ~12 colleagues within the Strategy & Business Development team. Additionally, you’ll collaborate extensively with OKR/QBR ambassadors across different bol departments. You’ll also leverage your process and communication skills to ensure systematic and effective strategy execution.

You’ll take ownership of business-critical processes and continuously raise the standards based on data and stakeholder feedback. Whether fine-tuning OKRs or streamlining QBRs – you’ll combine process precision with strategic insight. And you’ll adapt seamlessly between C-level and operations, conveying complex issues lucidly. Key responsibilities:

  • Manage the QBR process, including clear synthesis of leadership insights
  • Lead the annual goal-setting process, ensuring clear objectives cascade down to departments
  • Implement a new OKR tool to provide insight into the realization of strategic objectives
  • Coordinate and prepare quarterly OKR updates, from CEO presentations to organization-wide communication
  • Build strong stakeholder partnerships at all levels to strengthen alignment and execution

You combine university-level thinking with a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in strategy or process management. You have up-to-date knowledge (experience welcome) of OKRs and know how to deploy this methodology effectively. As a natural connector, you unite teams around ambitious objectives and high standards. You have demonstrable experience translating broad organizational objectives into concrete priorities and holding people accountable at all levels. You excel in stakeholder management and are a process expert who continuously challenges yourself and others to improve.
