As part of this journey, the Senior Commodity Market Analyst will provide critical market insights and strategic guidance to key stakeholders.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Commodity Market Analysis: Lead fundamental analysis (supply & demand, stocks, trade flows, and regulations) and technical analysis (spreads, chart pattern, moving average, support and resistance) for key commodities (agro-commodities and energy sectors).
• Forecasting & Reporting: Provide actionable price forecasts to support financial processes, including Monthly Rolling Forecast and Annual Strategic Plans.
• Strategic Reporting: Deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly commodity market reports to Finance & Procurement teams, ensuring visibility of market trends and key developments.
• Risk Management Support: Contribute to Risk Management Strategies by providing insights, benchmarking, and back trading simulations to support the design of risk management policies.
• Hedging & Coverage Recommendations: Develop and present hedging and coverage strategies, including opportunities to adjust supplier contract terms to enhance financial hedging capabilities.
• Stakeholder Management: Act as a key liaison with external consultants and build relationships with experts to bring cutting-edge insights to internal stakeholders.

Sobre ti

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Master’s Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Economics, Finance, Business, or Engineering).
• Proven experience in global commodity markets analysis, including developing technical analysis and forecasting models.
• A strong understanding of commodity risk management practices and financial forecasting.
• Familiarity with commodity trading and risk management tools is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to translate complex market dynamics into clear, actionable insights.
• Ability to build and nurture relationships with internal stakeholders (Risk Management, Procurement, Controlling, Business) and external experts.
• A proactive, reliable, and open-minded team player with a passion for continuous improvement and leveraging technology for efficiency.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Advanced Excel and Power Bi skills; familiarity with market analysis tools and financial modeling software.
• Experience working in global or cross-functional teams in a multinational environment.
• Knowledge of sustainability trends in commodity markets is an advantage.
