Sr. Portfolio Lifecycle & Pricing Manager

The Senior Portfolio Lifecycle & Pricing Manager is responsible for the commercial & operational efficiency of the Philips Avent business portfolio across global markets. He/she leads the phase-in/phase-out management and focus on driving portfolio performance improvement through our KPI “Portfolio Productivity” and functional efforts that deliver portfolio efficiency and cost saving.

The Mother & Childcare team within Philips Personal Health. You report directly to the MCC Business Portfolio Leader and part of the MCC Business Portfolio team responsible for commercial & operational efficiency and consistency of business portfolio across global markets

Your role:

  • Defining the global portfolio channelization strategy via price-pack portfolio architecture methodology
  • Maximizing the value of the portfolio through increasing the portfolio productivity through monitoring the portfolio performance, identifying the weeds, seeds & blossoms and driving actions through the E2E teams
  • The short-term business unit level performance, portfolio productivity KPI review & corrective action plans.
  • Act as a custodian of the global Commercial Pricing Policy, support the business / x-category teams with operational pricing activities to ensure business continuity
  • Facilitates line chart process between the business and our sales regions
  • Manage pricing exceptions on RRP and 3net level for promotions, aging & excess stock, phase-out, and COOP, by strongly collaborating with E2E business stakeholders and ensure feedback loop on price setting quality, in order to drive number of pricing exception requests down
  • Supports E2E business stakeholders with portfolio metrics measurement & analytics, roadmap maintenance and troubleshooting, facilitation of operational processes (phase-in, phase-out, BRC action plans where relevant, troubleshooting across product characteristics etc.)
  • Manage X category 18 months phase-in phase-out roadmap and its execution of price pack architecture, NPI and phase out on 12NC level
  • Manage phase-in/phase-out process timelines and requirements and facilitates decision-making/exception management through data analysis/decision-making enablement
  • Reports on portfolio management KPIs/processes

You're the right fit if:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or applicable discipline; MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in portfolio management, supply chain business & data analytics and/or supply & operations planning
  • CPG experience required – FMCG experience preferred
  • Exhibits passion for data analytics and data-driven decision making
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, influence and work with all levels in a complex matrixed organization, including senior leadership.
  • Proven leadership ability with a demonstrated high level of integrity, and the willingness to take ownership & accept responsibility and make decisions for expedient problem resolution.
  • Exhibits high personal performance standards, the desire and ability to continuously learn, adapt and lead with an enterprise mindset, unwilling to accept status quo.
  • Working knowledge of the latest portfolio management practices within the CPG industry
  • Demonstrated expert written/verbal communication skills, and a proven capability to present complex concepts in a concise and understandable way to a variety of audiences, including the highest level of the organization and senior executives externally.
