About the role:

Drive Versuni’s global relationship with Amazon, the biggest retailer on earth. In this role, you are the linking pin between all teams in Versuni that are working on the Amazon account and are responsible to shape the global account strategy for Amazon at Versuni.

The impact you'll make:

  • By understanding Versuni and Amazon’s long term strategy, consumer and shopper requirements, leads the creation of Versuni’s 3-Year Account Plan for Amazon together with the Amazon Sales Leads in the markets, as well as with Versuni’s Media- and Supply Chain teams.
  • Is the first point-of-contact for Amazon’s Global Vendor Management team, connects with GVM Account manager on weekly basis to discuss and resolve topics with a global scope.
  • Prepares the Quarterly Business Review together with Amazon and relevant Versuni stakeholders to ensure an effective meeting with clear action points/outcomes and follows up on these action points.
  • By understanding customer and consumer needs, is supporting in designing clear requirements for new value propositions (including new products, business models, etc).
  • Coordinates industry, market, business insights, consumer and shopper insights in order to identify new business opportunities.
  • Maintains and extends an in-depth and up-to-date knowledge on industry, channel, competition business trends and insight, as well as engaging with external networks formed around Amazon topics.
  • Is responsible for coordinating the portfolio of products sold to Amazon globally to maximize the portfolio offered to consumers in all Amazon marketplaces worldwide.
  • Drives roadmap of strategic initiatives with the Businesses focusing on bespoke solutions within the Amazon eco-system (e.g. Alexa, Smart Home, AWS, The Climate Pledge).

The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:

  • +5 years experience in sales or key account management
  • Previous experience working with Amazon in a Vendor (1P) setting
  • Bachelor’s degree equivalent level in Business Administration or equivalent
  • Experience in sales strategy & eCommerce, negotiation, pricing and revenue management and portfolio management
  • Fluent in English is a must; any additional language is a plus
