About the job

As the Mizuno online activities are growing, in the position as E-Commerce Product Merchandiser you will have the opportunity to ensure that all Mizuno products are attractively displayed on the Mizuno website and are performing in sell through.

You also know exactly what is happening in the online channels and work intensively with the EMEA Marketing team, product teams, supply chain, and external parties to bring the Mizuno product performance to a higher level.

Here's what you will be responsible for:
  • Responsible for making products in the online store discoverable and desirable to customers using the Salesforce platform (and other tools)
  • Responsible for maximizing online product revenue and profit
  • Work closely with internal departments to ensure the online assortment and stock levels are accurate
  • Curate and optimise product exposure online from a sales, margins, inventory, and product focus perspective
  • Work together with ecommerce team to optimise cross-sell and up-sell on our ecommerce website
  • Responsible for product level performance and purchase behaviour analysis and sharing this information with relevant internal stakeholders
  • Responsible for product information management together with ecommerce team
  • Optimise product listings, including product titles and pricing to enhance search visibility, improve click-through rates, and drive sales conversion
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop merchandising strategies and promotional campaigns that drive traffic, increase conversion rates, and maximize sales
  • Conduct ongoing analysis of product and website performance to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
  • Implement merchandising tactics such as cross-selling, upselling, and product bundling to increase average order value and maximize revenue
  • Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to stay informed about market dynamics, pricing strategies, and emerging opportunities
  • Collaborate with the Supply Chain team and third parties to ensure accurate inventory management, timely product launches, and seamless order fulfilment
  • Continuously evaluate and optimize the online shopping experience, including website navigation, product categorisation, etc.

About you

  • Bachelor or Masters degree in Business, Marketing, or E-Commerce
  • 3-5 years ecommerce merchandising experience
  • Extensive knowledge of Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Sales Cloud, Analytics Cloud (including Tableau) and relevant tools
  • Good understanding of digital merchandising principles and consumer buying behaviour
  • Strong analytical skills and able to translate this to commercial actions
  • Are entrepreneurial and highly result oriented
  • Work well under pressure and with tight deadlines, strong prioritising
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Passionate about sports
  • Able to work with internal stakeholders i.e., Ecommerce, Marketing, Product
  • High interest in latest technology and consumer trends
  • International experience in retail consumer goods
  • Fluent in English, preferred multilingual
  • Eligible to work in The Netherlands
