Introduction

Within ASML, security capabilities are organized centrally, and security risk management is embedded within each of the sectors. For Customer Solutions and Support (CS&S), which consists of the sectors Sales and Customer Support, we are looking for a security awareness expert to further strengthen our ability to protect the confidential information of both ASML and our customers by sustaining and maturing the security awareness. Role and Responsibilities

As part of the security expert role, one of the primary tasks is to maintain and execute a formal awareness program with the goal to make employees aware of the potential information security threats and guide them on expected actions to take so that ASML assets are protected from those threats.

A grasp of your responsibilities:

• Execution of CS&S awareness activities which includes development of awareness strategy, planning, execution, and monitoring for effectiveness
• Develop metrics to assess the effectiveness and impact of Security Awareness & training conducted for the sector
• Develop and conduct training for new hires in coordination with HR and regional security teams globally
• Develop a wide range of awareness content such as Newsletters, articles on ASML intranet pages, business dashboard KPI reports, presentations, notification releases, CBTs, security alerts, security quiz
• Review and analyze security survey results; Develop awareness corrective actions based on improvement areas observed
• Collaborate and support our business stakeholders on information security inquiries and embedding information security in the 1st line
• Ensure the security awareness activities are in line with ASML policy and standards, also, are in compliance with ISO 27001, NIS2, or other security standards

Education and Experience

• Master’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum of 7-10 years of relevant experience in information security risk management and/or security awareness (communications).
• Proven experience with the ISO27001/2 risk management framework/control
• Good understanding of information security risk and threats
• Experience in establishing and executing an information security awareness program
• Experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus.
• Information security risk management qualifications like CISSP, CISA, CRISC, or CISM is a plus

• Experience in stakeholder management & communicating with senior management
• Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to understand business pain areas and translate them into simple actions that the business can take to ensure compliance with security policy;
• Pro-active and self-motivated with the proven ability to drive results.
• Creative when handling problems independently, commitment, and flexibility.
• Team player with strong analytical skills.

Context of the Position

As a security awareness expert, you are part of the CS&S Security & Risk Management department positioned within Customer Solution and Support and will report to the Sector Security Risk Manager.

You will be based in Veldhoven, the Netherlands. You will be a member of the ASML Security community; working closely together with the security risk management teams in other sectors and the central security competence teams.
