Projectmanager General Industry

We are looking for an (aspiring) Project Manager! We seek an entrepreneurial colleague who brings innovative ideas to life and seamlessly integrates complex systems. What do we expect?

• Bachelor degree in the direction of Technical Business Administration, Industrial Automation, Mechanical Engineering or similar;
• No experience as a project manager yet? We also welcome Lead Engineers who are ready to take the next step and have experience in mechanical engineering, industrial automation, or a technical B2B (project) organization;
• You are willing to travel and work abroad 10-15 percent of your time;
• A hands-on mentality and strong organisational skills. You take ownership and are able to switch between different situations;
• Good communication skills, enabling you to manage your team effectively.

Your biggest challenge as a Project Manager at AWL? Working in an international, multidisciplinary environment where you have to deal with a variety of factors and parameters. Since every project has its challenging aspects and risks, you are the connecting force that leads the project team to success. From strategy to execution, from concept to final result. With the ultimate goal of a satisfied customer and project team. In cooperation with the team and based on your technical expertise, you set the course and manage multiple projects in different phases for clients all over the world.

Furthermore you are responsible for:

• Delivering various projects within time, budget and according to the set quality requirements;
• Motivating and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team (Mechanical, Software, Hardware, Robotics);
• Actively manage contracts and ensure transparent and verifiable agreements;
• Managing technical and financial risks of the projects and coordinating with the customer.

1. 40% Consulting with customers
2. 30% Delivery of project results and handover
3. 20% Translating requests into concepts and calculations
4. 10% Analysing requests
