In this role, you have the opportunity to

Analyse critical commercial processes related to the Ambulatory Monitoring and Diagnostics (AM&D) business worldwide, standardize and improve business reporting, and create new performance management reporting. You are the driving force behind the weekly performance management cadence, collaborating with sales managers in different countries to provide a latest view on the business performance. Furthermore, you have the opportunity to participate in several strategic projects to improve the performance of the business or to explore new business opportunities.

You are responsible to

  • Supporting Markets, businesses and functional organizations in analysing AM&D business
  • Create a Daily Management Board for the AM&D International team
  • Create new standard relevant reporting
  • Participate in several strategic projects to improve the performance of the business or to explore new business opportunities.

You are part of Ambulatory Monitoring & Diagnostics (AM&D) International Markets

In 2021, Philips completed the acquisition of BioTelemetry, a leading US-based provider of remote cardiac diagnostics and monitoring. In the US, BioTelemetry annually monitors over one million cardiac patients remotely. This sizeable acquisition (approx. €2.3 billion) fits perfectly with Philips’ strategy to become a global leader in patient care management solutions for the hospital and the home and offers a strong fit with Philips’ cardiac and stroke care portfolio. The combination of Philips’ and BioTelemetry’s portfolios into the Ambulatory Monitoring and Diagnostics (AM&D) business will result in significant innovation synergies and geographical expansion in the fast-growing ambulatory monitoring and diagnostics market, with the ambition to improve patient care and reduce the cost of care across care settings.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Currently in Business Management, Finance or Business Analytics Master’s Degree, MBA, or final bachelor year.
  • Expert level of Microsoft Excel skills
  • Ability to summarize complex data in comprehensive visuals
  • Experience with SAP, Qlikview, SQL, Oracle database structures is a plus
  • Good level of English (will be the day to day language)
  • Curious, organization skills, eager to learn
  • Project management is a plus
  • Ability to work effectively with senior people across different cultures
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with global teams located around the world

Our intern remuneration package:

  • Monthly full-time allowance between €500 - €700 gross, depending on educational level and if you would need to relocate to The Netherlands. If you will perform a part-time internship you will receive the allowance pro-rata.
  • Housing compensation, in case of relocating to the vicinity of the office, €300,- net if location is in the vicinity of Amsterdam, €255,- net for all other Philips locations. You need to provide a rental contract of the landlord, and your normal home-work travel distance need to be more than 50 km or travel time (one way trip) need to be more than 1.5 hours.
  • Travel compensation, if you are not eligible for a free public transport card; you will receive max. €192,- net depending on the distance between your home address and the Philips location.
  • Paid holidays per internship term.
