The Ideal Candidate

• Strong knowledge of Azure architecture, services, and security best practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 administration and security configurations.
• Technically skilled with Microsoft Purview, including data governance, compliance management, and risk assessment functionalities.
• Familiarity with compliance standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001, etc.
• Experience in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or similar technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Security principles, practices and systems.

Optional:

• Security analyst experience with a technical degree or comparable education.
• Azure or Microsoft 365 certifications related to security and compliance.
• Experience in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or similar technologies.
• Experience deploying other Microsoft 365 and Azure tools including Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Entra, Microsoft Intune, and more.

The Role

The AI Security Analyst is responsible for ensuring that AI tooling and practices used in Valtech are secure, compliant to internal policies and adequately protected from security risks. The AI Security Analyst is responsible for identifying vulnerabilities and potential threats, monitoring the usage of the tools, conducting risk assessments, and developing and implementing security solutions to mitigate risks associated with the AI ecosystems in use in Valtech. Also, the AI Security Analyst will be involved in incident response, security monitoring, and security policy development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and evaluate the usage of AI toolset across Valtech
• Develop and implement security measures, policies, and procedures to protect AI systems against unauthorized access, data breaches, and other security incidents.
• Monitor and analyze security logs and events and respond to security threats in a timely manner.
• Conduct security audits and assessments to ensure compliance with applicable regulations, industry best practices, and organizational security policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that security requirements are incorporated into AI system design, development, implementation processes and ensure appropriate usage.
• Conduct alert validation and triage within SIEM and EDR platforms.
• Perform threat hunting to identify suspicious artifacts within AI tools deployed.
• Document research and analysis findings.
• Oversee the full lifecycle of AI systems, from acquisition to decommissioning, ensuring compliance with company policies and optimizing AI utilization.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for secure usage of AI tools.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to IT and other teams to ensure that security controls are effectively implemented and maintained.
• Stay updated on the latest security threats, technologies, and industry trends, and provide recommendations for improving security posture.
• Participate in incident response activities, including investigation, containment, and recovery efforts, as needed.
• Provide training and awareness programs to educate employees and users about security best practices and procedures.
• Analyze data trends to identify opportunities for risk mitigation.
• Coordinate with security counterparts to make risk-based recommendations about posture and resource allocation.
• Generate and deliver regular reports on vulnerability trends, compliance, and application usage metrics.
