Join DevOn as a DevOps Engineer

As a DevOps Engineer at DevOn, you will work for one of the leading organizations in the Netherlands! Together, we determine your career path at DevOn and help you grow into a full-fledged DevOps professional. You will be supporting clients to solve their issues regarding the DevOps transformation. You will be coaching teams on how to use the latest tools and strategically advising them on how they can speed up their software development. You research, advise, implement, and collaborate with the teams and the rest of the organization to reach the solution. Next to this, you will have the opportunity to give training courses and workshops to customers.

At DevOn, we share our tech knowledge via blogs, white papers, and webinars, and we speak at conferences. On every other Friday from 13:00 – 17:00, you work with the rest of your DevOn colleagues on the development of both the company and yourself. As part of the team, you also determine the direction of DevOn and you have input in all facets of the company. Of course, we close with a drink and very regularly with a celebration moment! 🎉

Responsibilities and Duties

• You have experience in managing the entire life cycle of a CI/CD Pipeline
• Expertise level in Cloud (mainly Azure, nice to have AWS/GCP)
• Building and configuring Kubernetes infrastructure
• Automate and build container systems with CI/CD tooling
• Implementing deployments and rollbacks of applications
• Monitoring and optimizing container workload deployments for customers
• Automate operational tasks and support the transition service ownership model
• Collaborate with different teams to simplify and improve software lifecycle processes
• Very good understanding of the entire SDLC, ideally having a software development background

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification:

A valid 4-year HBO or University diploma

Experience:

More than three years of relevant work experience with DevOps

Specific Skills:

DevOps, Public Cloud, Terraform, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Python, Security, Test(automation), .NET

Personal Characteristics:

• You have strong interpersonal skills and are driven to learn and adapt to new technologies.
