About the Role:

OMA's Rotterdam office is looking for a 3D Visualization Intern to join our team. The intern will be part of the Visualization Team who is responsible for producing high-quality visuals for architectural projects. The role offers the opportunity to develop your skills in 3ds Max, Corona Renderer, parametric modeling, and rendering.

The intern will assist in refining visuals and ensuring effective representation of architectural concepts. Working closely with project teams, the Visualization Team translates their vision into compelling visual narratives.

This role supports the team’s workflow while exploring and integrating new technologies, such as AI and immersive experiences, to advance architectural visualization.

Qualifications:

• Currently studying Architecture or a related field, or a recent graduate with an Architecture degree.
• Experience with 3dsMax and rendering engines (Corona, Vray, Twinmotion,D5).
• Rhino + Grasshopper knowledge is a plus.
• Interest in AI tools and image generation platforms, such as Stable Diffusion, is a plus.
• Knowledge of the Adobe Suite is needed.
• A keen eye for detail, composition and visual narrative.
• Ability and interest in learning new software and digital tools.
• Able to handle conflicting demands, prioritize tasks, and work effectively under pressure. while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
• Natural team-player, who excels in working both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the team to create high-quality visuals.
• Assist in modeling and collaborate on 3D and parametric design tools to develop architectural models.
• Explore emerging technologies in architecture, such as AI and immersive experiences.
• Support the team in post-production processes, such as editing visual outputs with graphic design software to refine and enhance deliverables.
• Assist teams by creating custom materials, refining their renders, and offering suggestions to enhance the quality of their visuals.
