About this role:

This is a pivotal role within the Global Media Team and wider marketing team. You will be leading a team that is responsible for delivering media for four critical European markets.

The Media Lead plays a vital role in making sure that our message is heard by our consumers. You are one of three Leads that reports into the Global Head of Media and you will be responsible for investing a large chunk of our marketing budget and making sure we are spending it effectively and efficiently.

These are some of the key ingredients to the role:

• Responsible for the annual media plan, strategy and story for the four European markets you look after, using data and insight to inform your choices.
• Oversee the buying and reporting of media campaigns across the 4 x markets you look after
• Work with our media agency partner (UM) to ensure we have best in class media plans and media rates
• Nurture and develop the talent within your team and the wider media team
• Owns and delivers global media projects that benefit the whole media team vs just the markets you look after
• Communicate our media plans and performance to key stakeholders including country Directors and wider marketing teams
• Work closely with the Digital Media team to co-create the brand media strategy and ensure that ATL channel plans are complimentary with Digital Media channel plans

What will you bring to the table?

• Deep multi-media planning experience across offline and digital channels
• Ability to articulate a simple and compelling story to key stakeholders (who aren’t necessarily media experts)
• Strong experience in taking campaigns from brief to buy and understanding the steps you need to go through to do this effectively
• Proactive self starter who is able to work with and influence marketing teams to shape what the brief and plan should be
• Experience of nurturing and developing talent
• Desire to get under the skin of the markets you look after understanding the consumer, market and competitive context
