About the role

As a Senior Azure Data Engineer, you play a crucial role in the team by managing data migration, storage, and processing activities. You contribute to optimizing the target architecture with the most suitable tools and technologies. Beyond hands-on tasks, you guide the team on best practices, technology standards, and potential automations within Azure cloud architecture. Your expertise in Python and PySpark is essential for development activities.

Our ideal candidate

• Senior Data engineer with good hands-on knowledge of Azure stack – specifically ADF, SQL, Databricks, and Synapse.
• Hands-on experience with Azure data services, including data migration, data storage, and data processing.
• Good knowledge, experience, and understanding of ETL/data warehouse.
• Proficient in Python/PySpark and experience in working on PySpark in an Azure/Databricks environment.
• Experience in Azure DevOps/CI-CD pipelines and version control.
• Good problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills to interact with a broad range of stakeholders.
