About The Role

Our office in The Netherlands has three teams, servicing our clients’ needs. We are looking for graduates to join in each of the teams outlined below. During the recruitment process, you will meet with colleagues across all areas to see which team fits your interests.

Turnaround & Restructuring

In our Turnaround & Restructuring practice, we support companies facing challenging financial circumstances with a motivated, experienced and hands-on team. We are there to help our customers when it really matters and the sense of urgency is high. For example with business reviews, option assessments, stakeholder management and full restructuring support including execution support, both from a financial and an operational perspective. We work for a broad range of clients; C-level management, banks, debt funds and private equity and corporates. We make a difference with our pragmatic approach and a team of experienced entrepreneurial professionals.

Transactions Advisory

Our Transaction practice is growing rapidly and has developed on multiple levels, such as number of deals, deal size and cross-border deals. We are focusing on the midmarket of M&A activity in the Benelux (deal value < EUR 100m) and are actively expanding our international focus together with our US and UK colleagues, who are serving the global mid and upper M&A market (>EUR 250m). We work with family owned offices, private equity and corporate clients and offer comprehensive diligence and M&A service leading to value-related advice and hands-on support across a full spectrum of industries.

Business Transformation & Strategy

In our Business Transformation practice, we support companies in times of large transformations. We determine the direction of the company at critical moments, such as mergers and integrations, due diligence and large-scale transformations with an experienced team of professionals. We help C-level executives identify new business opportunities, redefine existing and new business models, revise go-to-market value propositions, designing an operational turn-around plan, and develop and implement new organizational models.

What You’ll Do

• Work with clients directly across industries as part of small projects groups, allowing you to take responsibility from day one and propel your learning
• Work as part of a team to assess fundamental drivers of a business, uncover reasons for underperformance, optimise operations to improve business performance, conduct financial due diligence as part of an M&A transaction and more!
• Perform data studies or analysis and interpreting results
• Communicating findings both written and orally

How You’ll Grow

We aim to promote continuous learning and individual skills development through on-the-job learning, and self-guided professional development courses. You’ll be assigned a dedicated coach to mentor, guide and support you through regular coaching sessions and serve as an advocate for your professional growth. In addition a buddy will help integrate you into the team and act as a first point of contact for questions.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• Bachelor or Master degree in STEM, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
• Have strong problem-solving skills
• Can communicate effectively, both orally and in writing;
• You are a self-starter and can work effectively, both independently and as part of a team.
• Fluency in English is required, Dutch language skills are desired
