Job description

In this project, you will 1) Characterise the diversity of collective regenerative and agroecological practices and practitioners 2) Collect existing and new soil and aboveground biodiversity data for different practices 3) Quantify and fill gaps in the ecological knowledge on grassland fauna for habitat suitability and biological corridor modelling, 4) Assess mismatches between grassland fauna ecological requirements and agricultural production requirements for different livestock-based collective actions. A participatory and integrative research approach will be employed to investigate the effects of grassland management on biodiversity and ecosystem services. This will include the performance of surveys, field research comparing different management practices, habitat modelling and co-creation of new solutions with stakeholders.
