Software Test Engineer

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting tests to ensure high-quality software, including identifying edge cases where bugs may occur.
• Developing and maintaining (semi-)automated test tools to improve the efficiency and coverage of our tests.
• Working in a Linux environment using Python to implement test automation.
• Collaborating with developers and other team members to gain a deep understanding of the software and develop effective testing strategies.
• Contributing to the agile development cycle by actively participating in scrum sessions and retrospectives.
• Documenting test results and communicating findings with the team in a clear and concise manner.
• Working independently and taking initiative to enhance the quality of the final product.

What You Bring

You recognize yourself in the following profile:

• You have completed a technical education at bachelor or master level.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Test Engineer in a software development environment.
• Experience with Linux OS and preferably knowledge of Python.
• Good communication skills in both English and Dutch.
• You have a critical and analytical mindset with a strong focus on quality.
• Experience in an agile/scrum development environment.
• A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently.
