Now, we’re looking for a driven Retail Solution Consultant to join our team and lead the adoption of RFID technology across the European fashion industry.

As a Retail Solution Consultant, you’ll play a key role in acquiring new global retail clients within the European fashion industry. As an expert guide, you will lead them through their RFID adoption journey, demonstrating how the technology solves complex business challenges and delivers long-term value. With your consultative approach and focus on delivering value, you will skillfully navigate and manage long and complex decision-making processes.You will collaborate closely with internal specialists to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs.

Your responsibilities

  • Identifying and connecting: Engaging with European fashion retail clients to understand their challenges and opportunities.
  • Creating relevance: Responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities through proactive acquisition, strategic networking, and collaboration within the ecosystem. This includes gaining access to opportunities via professional networks, referrals, and targeted outreach initiatives;
  • Developing and executing strategies: Informing and educating clients on the benefits and business impact of RFID technology.
  • Inspiring and persuading: Conducting presentations, demonstrations, and workshops tailored to client needs.
  • Building relationships: Establishing trusted connections with key stakeholders and decision-makers to foster long-term partnerships.
  • Ownership Taking ownership over your pipeline of potential and progressing new clients in your respective market
  • Closing deals: Converting opportunities into valuable contracts and ensuring a smooth transition to the implementation team.
  • Maintaining knowledge: Staying up-to-date with retail industry trends and innovations in RFID technology to provide forward-thinking solutions.

Your team

As a Retail Solution Consultant, you will join a specialized sales team. From day one, we’ll make sure you feel at home with a buddy system and an extensive onboarding program. Together with your international sales team and buddy, you’ll set goals and work on both personal and professional growth at Nedap. You’ll collaborate with sales professionals who work with leading global retailers. Once a quarter, we meet with the International Sales Team to share ideas and best practices. This role also offers the flexibility to work fully remotely, enabling you to succeed from anywhere.

Required experience and skills

As a Retail Solution Consultant, your consultative and value-driven sales approach will play a pivotal role in building lasting relationships with clients. Your ability to think critically and develop tailored solutions, combined with your entrepreneurial mindset and proactive attitude, will drive results in a fast-paced, international environment. Resilience, adaptability, and strong communication skills are essential to succeed in this role.

Besides that you have:

  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in an international organization with complex (sales) cycles;
  • Technical knowledge: Ability to bridge technology with business and translate this into concrete value for our clients
  • Relationship management: Ability to build trust with internal and external stakeholders by leveraging your own expertise and that of your team members effectively;
  • Results-oriented mindset: Proven ability to achieve impactful business results and successfully manage high-value initiatives or agreements.
  • Languages: In addition to business-level English, business proficiency in Italian and French is a strong plus.
