Your Job

Can you enhance the customer experience by designing and implementing robust testing strategies and technical solutions? At our Center of Excellence, we are seeking a Quality and Test Specialist, a tech-savvy professional who will not only further design and expand the Salesforce Clouds but also ensure they are rigorously tested and validated. You'll empower our brands, Vodafone Business and Ziggo Zakelijk, to deliver smarter, faster, and simpler customer-centric experiences with confidence in every release.

What you bring to the job

We are seeking an experienced Quality and Test Specialist to join our dynamic and agile team within VodafoneZiggo. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of our products by leveraging your expertise in testing, quality assurance, and agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-End Quality Assurance: You will take ownership of the entire quality lifecycle, from the start of an epic or user story to the post-Go Live phase. You will create test designs, execute them, log defects, and ensure they are properly understood and addressed by the squad.
• Defect Management & Validation: Your role involves ensuring the correct attention is given to defects, advocating for their resolution, and leading the retesting process. You will provide solid advice to your squad on the overall quality of the product.
• Continuous Improvement: Post Go Live, you will actively investigate and help resolve incidents, identifying gaps in the process, and ensuring preventive measures are implemented to avoid future issues.
• Shift Left Approach: You will work closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, designers, and developers to review requirements (static testing), design, and refinement processes. You’ll guide developers in testing their code before it reaches final validation, ensuring a proactive approach to quality from the start.
• Automation & Non-Functional Testing: You have a strong understanding of test automation and can identify and mitigate risks in the non-functional areas of the product. You will focus on ensuring quality across the entire delivery chain, not just your squad's work.
• Collaboration & Communication: You’ll effectively communicate with your squad, stakeholders, and other teams to achieve your ultimate goal—quality.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Quality and Test Engineer in an agile environment
• Strong knowledge of test design, defect management, and testing best practices
• Experience with static testing and a shift left approach to quality
• Affinity and experience with test automation tools, preferably Selenium, and identifying risks in non-functional areas
• You have worked with the Salesforce platform.
• You have experience in the world of telecommunications.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams
• Ability to focus on the entire delivery chain and ensure a seamless quality process
