The scope of the position

Work on backend services and bridging these to frontend solutions, on either iOS or Android native apps. You’ll team-up with frontend teams to bring these solutions to production.

Your expertise will be an invaluable addition to our (backend) team! Here’s what we’re looking for:

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: You bring a breadth of knowledge and communicate effectively across disciplines, engaging with colleagues to integrate solutions across the stack
• You will (help) bring ideas to a user-based test set up, we value A/B testing
• You will (help) bring solutions to production in a monitored and scalable manner

What you bring as Backend Software Engineer with mobile app experience;

• Over 5+ years of experience in software engineering, preferably within the e-commerce sector.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in developing customer-facing applications and backends.
• You are well-versed in backend and have some experience with mobile development, particularly using our tech stack, which includes Kotlin, Spring Boot, GraphQL, Kubernetes, Docker, Jetpack Compose and Swift UI.

This is where you’ll work

You’ll join the Product Pages back-end team, located in the Consumer Journey domain. The team enables customer reviews and wishlists, we want to discover this data in order to create nice and useful solutions for our customers. The team consists of back-end software engineers and a product manager.
