Finance & Accounts Traineeship

As a Finance & Accounts Trainee, you will get a chance to be a part of our diverse and talented team. You will work under continuous guidance under your Manager, which will contribute to your career development.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Finance & Accounts team at Aalsmeer with daily tasks and projects.
• Post bank transactions in accounting software
• Assist the accounting team with processing of local bank account reconciliation
• Provide day-to-day support for our accounts payable process in Blue10.
• Assist with the AP/AR process, including coding and booking invoices according to assigned cost centers.
• Become familiar with General Ledger accounting processes.
• Help with the reconciliation of accounts to ensure accuracy.
• Filing of hard- and softcopy documents
• Assist with preparation of accounting package templates for subsidiaries
• Support the team with preparing VAT filing reports.

What are we looking for (and what we can help you develop):

• A completed university bachelor's and/or master's degree in the field of Finance, Accountancy, Business Administration, Economics or another relevant study background;
• 1 to 3 years of work experience;
• Exposure to various aspects of Finance and accounting;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, especially MS-Excel;
• Fluent in English (verbal, written and spoken). Dutch is a plus;
• Currently living in Netherlands, preferably close to Aalsmeer;
• Attention to detail and ability to analyze and present information to team members;
• Available for 40 hours per week for a period of 6 months, beginning Feb 2025.
