Data Analyst Data Driven Compliance

As Data Analyst, you make a difference by finding creative opportunities from data. As expert you use your data analytics skills, to produce actionable insights and foresights to help drive the Compliance function. You and your job

On a day-to-day basis, you will work as an integral part of the Data Analytics team and in conjunction with the entire Compliance department. The role primarily focuses on exploring opportunities to use data-based insights and analysis in the decision-making processes within Compliance. You know your way around coding, analytical models and can generate valuable insights out of data. Clear communication is key in this job, as you will present results from your analysis in a clear and actionable way to stakeholders and management.

Your Top 3 Responsibilities

• Create Data-Driven Insights & Solutions: Analyze massive datasets (ranging from millions to billions of rows) using Python and SQL to uncover patterns, anomalies, or trends;
• Develop Dashboards & Visualizations: Translate complex data findings into intuitive Power BI dashboards and other visual reporting formats;
• Collaborate & Deliver Value: Work closely with business stakeholders (Compliance officers, business analysts, data providers) to proactively understand evolving requirements and deliver value-driven use cases.

The team itself

As a Data Analyst, you are part of the Risk & Data team, which is one of the 4 teams of the Core Compliance department within the Compliance department of Rabobank Group; one of the most dynamic departments of the bank. Compliance has a key role in the promotion and safeguarding of the integrity as well as the reputation of Rabobank Group. Compliance promotes and monitors that the integrity and compliance rules are closely adhered to through its teams dedicated to business line compliance for the various markets (e.g., Retail Netherlands, Rural & Retail, Wholesale, Member Banks), as well as the expertise center on themes such as market abuse, conflicts of interests and financial economic crime.

You and your talent

• Bachelor or Masters or equivalent experience in a data analytics role;
• Proven experience in using data analytics tooling (Power BI, Python and SQL);
• Experience with Agile philosophies;
• Proficiency in the Dutch language at a professional level is necessary to be successful in this position.

This is what we offer you

Gross salary between € 4.331 (scale 9) and € 7.374 per month (scale 10). Depending on your experience and seniority.
