Process & Information Officer

The position

For our Ship Management Department, located in Rotterdam, we are looking for an enthusiastic, innovative and flexible Process & Information Officer.

Your Responsibilities

As a Process & Information Officer at Van Oord, you focus on various internal processes and maritime laws and regulations. Your duties include:

• Elaboration of internal (administrative) processes and improvement proposals
• Set up and develop various reports for compliancy such as fuel reports
• Maritime compliance; identify new legislation and regulations & impact on the fleet
• Analyzing data with regard to fleet, new construction processes, etc.
• Overview of sustainability projects with regard to the fleet / relationship to subsidies and legislation

Job requirements

You are an independent, proactive and decisive person who tackles challenging topics and conducts research within the organization. You work in a small team, but with contacts throughout the Ship Management department. You have strong communication and social skills and a flexible attitude. You also take with you:

• Bsc or Msc Industrial Engineering & Management or comparable
• Analytical / process thinking
• Knowledge of the maritime industry;
• Good knowledge of the Dutch and English language, spoken and written;
