The Social Hub is seeking a Head of Finance and HR systems to lead our operational backbone into the future!

Your mission, should you choose to accept it...

You will take charge of shaping, optimizing, and managing the systems and workflows that keep The Social Hub running smoothly. As the Head of Finance and HR systems, you will drive strategic alignment across Finance, People, and Legal systems while rolling up your sleeves to ensure day-to-day operational excellence. Your leadership will transform processes, enhance business efficiency, and introduce automation while contributing to ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) and CSDR (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) reporting frameworks.

With a hands-on approach and strategic mindset, you will oversee a small, high-performing team of two and work closely with managed service providers to ensure our systems not only meet current needs but position us for long-term success.

In case you don't know who we are (ahem)...

Known for being the rule breakers in hospitality, TSH is a fun, creative, and inspiring environment where everyone can work, stay, learn, and play—and most importantly—be themselves. As an employer, we look, act, and think like a hotel, but we offer so much more. Think student accommodation, long and short-stay options, gyms, talks, events, rooftop bars, coworking spaces, and eat & drink escapes. Located across Europe and rapidly expanding, our hybrid hospitality concept is setting the stage to go global.

What You'll Do:

  • Continuously review and optimize our system landscape across Finance, HR, and Legal to ensure alignment with business needs, market changes, and compliance requirements.
  • Lead the selection, implementation, and maintenance of back-office systems, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external advisors.
  • Partner with teams to map, analyze, and improve workflows, focusing on reducing manual processes and driving efficiency.
  • Oversee system training programs to ensure key users and teams are equipped to maximize system potential.
  • Take ownership of ESG and CSDR reporting frameworks, ensuring they align with both regulatory and organizational goals.
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure successful execution of implementation programs.
  • Support the development of dashboards and reporting tools for Finance and HR in collaboration with our data strategy team.
  • Drive process improvement projects, with a focus on payroll optimization and other critical workflows.
  • Lead a small, dynamic team and coordinate with managed service providers to deliver excellence.

Who You Are:

  • You hold a master’s degree in (Business) Economics or Accounting and bring 10+ years of relevant working experience.
  • You’re experienced in managing back-office systems, process optimization, and agile working methods.
  • You’re a pro at vendor management, system implementations, and aligning tools with business needs.
  • You thrive in leadership roles, with a proven track record in people management and stakeholder collaboration.
  • You have hands-on expertise with systems like Netsuite, Personio, Greenhouse, and similar tools in Finance, HR, and Legal domains.
  • You’re structured, optimistic, and have an entrepreneurial mindset, eager to execute with pace and precision.
  • Your communication skills and ability to foster teamwork make you an inspiring leader.

What We Offer:

  • The opportunity to work at a dynamic, multi-national company based in one of Europe’s most exciting cities
  • We’re not just another hotel - we’re a game-changing innovator, challenging every convention and defining the future.
  • The chance to learn and grow in your role with the potential for future growth.
  • The opportunity to work for a Certified B Corp® company that balances profit with positive impact, collaborating with organizations like Movement on the Ground and the TSH Talent Foundation to create meaningful change
  • Awesome discounts on all our properties in Europe and not just for you, but also for your friends and family!
  • The freedom to work remotely or to come to the office – whatever suits you best!
  • A wonderful workplace to call home - full of events, fun-loving colleagues, and of course all of the other amazing salary and benefit stuff.

Ready to transform systems and processes at a company redefining hybrid hospitality? Apply now and make your mark at The Social Hub!

The Social Hub is much more than a hotel. In our boundary-blurring spaces we bring together a new generation of bold change-makers to connect, learn, stay, work, and play. Creating memorable experiences for our community of hotel guests, students, creatives, enterprising minds and anyone in between.
