What You'll Be Doing:

As an Assistant Controller, you will play a pivotal role in our finance team and help steer the financial operations of a dynamic organization. You’ll work in an international environment with diverse sales channels, including Wholesale, Retail, E-commerce, and Marketplaces. Your key responsibilities include:

• Owning and managing the general ledger with precision and accuracy.
• Handling VAT filings for multiple European entities.
• Supporting the management and control of our inventory processes.
• Managing and accounting Retail expenses, such as rent, utilities, property tax, and other recurring costs.
• Overseeing cash management for our retail stores.
• Assisting in month-end and year-end closings and contributing to the annual financial statement audits.
• Driving improvement projects within our purchasing, sales, and reporting processes.

What we are looking for:

• Experience: 2–5 years in a financial environment.
• Education: A bachelor’s degree in Finance & Control (or a related field).
• Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written) and preferably also Dutch.
• A proactive mindset and a strong drive for continuous improvement.
