Join our dynamic Statutory & Sustainability Reporting, Policies team at MBE as an ESG Reporting Intern.

ESG factors are becoming increasingly embedded into every organisation’s Strategy and Processes. This

- creates exciting opportunities for those passionate about sustainability and positive impact.

This role will give you the opportunity to gain real work experience in a corporate setting while developing knowledge of the ESG Regulatory framework valuable for your professional development. As part of this role you can complete a study project that could help you in your academic career.

The role is part of the ESG Controllership & Reporting pillar within the Statutory & Sustainability Reporting, Policies and Projects team. You will support the team on the preparation of ESG Disclosures stemming from the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and EU Taxonomy Regulation.

The role includes the following:

  • Assist the ESG team in ESG Reporting and organizational readiness assessment.
  • Support the annual ESG Disclosure preparation with data collection, reporting manual and controls.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective disclosure alignment and data completeness.
  • Support the team in ensuring current reporting practice are streamlined and aligned with reporting standards.

In order to be successful in the role, you will need the following:

Skills and experience:

  • Be a full time student either at Bachelor or Master level studying Sustainability/Finance/Business (or another relevant study);
  • Excellent attention to detail, proactive, hands-on.
  • Analytical skills, including good knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data organization, and reporting.
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and in writing is a must;
  • Interpersonal and networking skills.
