Responsibilities:

  • Work in a dev-ops team building our new SaaS platform (the Platform Engineering team).
  • Drive collaboration with our LoB product/service teams.
  • Supply internally developed tooling (CI/CD, Internal Developer Platform).
  • Share and collect best practices, templates, CI tooling, score cards, and self-servicing across our platform.
  • Assess opportunities for application, process improvement and prepare documentation of rationale to share with team members and other affected parties.
  • Perform structural modifications to the team's products, code, and architecture.
  • Development process in line with CI/CD, as much automation as possible.
  • Ability to align needs and requirements within different roles in the organization: software engineers, QA engineers, product owners, and software architects.
  • Review pull request of the team and give recommendation to improve code quality and best practice.

Requirements:

  • Experience with .Net and Cloud technologies.
  • A Dev-Ops mindset.
  • A strong understanding of Azure Cloud. Experience with other cloud providers is a plus.
  • Experienced in C# and other languages. Not afraid to work with other languages if need be.
  • Experience in Infrastructure as Code including Pulumi and Terraform.
  • Technical leadership skills and the ability to collaborate with other teams.
  • Ability to work with Agile processes.
  • Bachelor of Computer Science, with multiple development specialty or experience; or solid professional track record working in software.
  • 5+ years of experience as a software engineer and/or in Operations.
  • Hands-on experience and knowledge of the standard tools for Continuous Integrations and dashboards in the software industry, and can program / automate with proficiency in at least scripting languages (Powershell, bash etc.).
  • Experience with SQL Server, REST API, Solid Principles, Microservices, Docker, TDD
  • Has in-depth knowledge of most, if not all, operational processes of many customers, link to the solution as well as architectural, testing and implementation implications.
  • Owns the technical initiatives of a product, large component or module incl. the (tech) roadmap and/or technically leads the development of a product, component or module.
