Hi student,

We're a start-up focussing on the polluting and inefficient process of webshop returns, and we are looking for someone to help us reach new heights🚀

Your role:

You will select, contact, and meet with (inter)national fashion retailers, particularly their e-commerce and operations managers. You will help design and make marketing communication strategies and execute them.

Another important part of your role is researching and attending (international) trade events with us. It’s a bonus if you have experience with online marketing (e.g., LinkedIn campaigns) or speak Dutch, German, or Scandinavian languages.

Our company:

We’re a spirited startup with a bold vision: to revolutionize the polluting and inefficient process of fashion e-commerce returns. Our technology allows retailers to resell returned products directly from one consumer to the next. By skipping the warehouse, our solution saves CO2 emissions, reduces logistics costs, and prevents the financial losses associated with returned items.

When a consumer selects our return method, the product is directly listed for sale again on the retailer's website. The product is offered at an optimal discount, calculated using our algorithm. We call this Forwarding. We launched last month and are already conducting sales in both the EU and the US. Our achievements include winning multiple national, EU, and corporate grants and prizes, most recently the Mastercard Strive EU Innovation Fund.

We’ve also published an academic paper on Forwarding and collaborated with professors from Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR) and Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU) to develop our algorithm. Now, we want to grow, grow, grow!

Practicalities:

Our office is located at Zomerhofstraat 71 in Rotterdam, and the company is founded and led by two Erasmus University alumni in their thirties. Pepijn is our Tech Lead, and Carl is our Sales Lead. You will primarily work with Carl and Ruben Kloet. Our team also includes two developers, Filip (Slovenia) and Filip (Bulgaria), both in their twenties.

We offer a monthly salary and bonus options based on your seniority. This role is open to third-year students as well as (young) professionals with some telemarketing or sales experience.
