What Makes This Role Unique?

As a Finance Business Partner, you work closely with fourteen Lely-owned local entities in various countries (think Germany, France, Italy, but also Brazil or New Zealand). They focus on purchasing advice, sales, installation, and technical service for Lely products: such as milking robots, automated feeding systems and barn products. You’ll have the opportunity to work in a close-knit team, united by shared ambition and a “boots on the ground” mentality. Each country and entity has its own challenges and market characteristics, making your work both varied and culturally enriching.

What Makes the Role Challenging?

Our centers are at different stages of development, ranging from 10 to 200 employees. You advise local Lely Center Managers on profitability, pricing, and budget development, managing performance through goals and forecasts. Additionally, you hold regular business review meetings and assist with forecasting and planning cycles. Traveling is part of the role, as you occasionally visit the centers to build valuable connections and optimize collaboration.

• A minimum of a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration or Economics.
• At least 10 years of relevant work experience in an international commercial environment.
• Strong skills in linking business processes with management objectives and placing them in a broader economic context.
• Excellent communication and advisory skills in both Dutch and English (knowledge of French or German is a plus).
