Business Control Intern

As our Intern in Business Control, you will be a part of the Financial Planning and Analysis Business Control team while also being exposed to the Commercial Business Control and Selling, General, and administrative teams. The Business Control team is a crucial component of the EMEA Finance department. You will support the team in their regular tasks and the projects they are involved in.

How you’ll help us.

Based out of our EMEA Headquarters, just outside of Amsterdam, Netherlands and reporting to the Financial Pricing and Margin Manager, as part of the role, you’ll:

• Provide timely, accurate and meaningful insights into pricing results to and with the Category team.
• Provided and oversaw all our planning processes, including the original budget, mid-term plan, annual financial plan, annual forecast, and monthly business review.
• Lead the long-term financial strategic planning and yearly budget planning processes within ASICS EMEA to be effective and efficient.
• Review quarterly forecast cycles.
• Drive continuous improvements within processes related to financial reporting, cross-functional planning, forecasting, budget processes and alignment within all overarching reporting.

More about you.

• Pursuing a qualification in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a similar field.
• Fluent in written and verbal English.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• You are eligible for an internship in the Netherlands, which means that you are currently enrolled and will be for the entire duration of the internship in a Dutch educational institution or you are an European citizen enrolled at an university for the entire duration of the internship.
