Senior Specialist GBS GL

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

• Support team overall efficiency by identifying improvement opportunities, realizing improvements, developing automation tools, and leveraging emerging AI technologies.
• Support team on reporting and analysis through Power BI, PowerPoint, etc., including monthly performance dashboard, Daily Management, BS analysis, etc.
• Support organizational efficiency through the identification and communication of process improvement opportunities.
• Ensure execution quality of key responsibilities in the GBS Center according to the requirements of GBS policies, procedures, guidelines, and the Group Accounting Manual for the specific area of responsibility (General ledger).

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Process Improvement via Automation (UiPath, Power Platform, etc.) for the GL operation team.
• Proactively identify efficiency improvement opportunities and lead overall design and landing.
• Collaborate with teams including but not limited to CI, GBS automation, process owners, and SMEs to ensure improvement opportunities are delivered.
• Support automation governance framework and ensure automation business continuity.
• Implement efficiency initiatives from global teams and lead deployment in Dalian.
• Introduce and share Dalian good practices with global teams to aid their implementation.

• Support Market monthly operation review dashboard creation.
• Support root cause analysis and action plans.
• Support meeting minutes and follow-up.

• Support GL process analysis to identify productivity opportunities.
• Conduct GL automation analysis, root cause analysis, and improvement planning.
• Support global KPI/SLA creation, root cause analysis, and improvement plans.
• Explore user expectations and perspectives to provide insights or analytics to existing reports.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Good accounting knowledge
• Proficiency with AI tools
• Strong finance analysis skills for generating saving and pipeline opportunities with category insights
• Proficient in Power BI and familiar with other visualization tools
• Excellent knowledge of MS-Office applications, including Advanced Excel, Power Query, Power Automate, and Office Scripts
• Understanding and experience with RPA tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or Blue Prism, etc.
• Experience in Python or SQL is a plus.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in a similar function for BPO or SSC companies
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
