As a Culinair Adviseur, you can immerse yourself in your passion for food and drinks while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. We offer a dynamic environment in our self-service wholesale facilities where food professionals provide customers with unique culinary advice and menu tips.

Your Role

Working frequently in our 'Proeftuin', a professional cooking studio, you'll offer expert culinary advice and answer customer queries about preparation methods, kitchen equipment, wine and food pairings, and more. You will also perform cooking demonstrations to showcase new and existing products and enhance sales using your commercial skills.

Your main tasks include:

• Providing professional culinary advice and inspiration to our customers.
• Organizing tasting sessions in our facility during themed days and customer events.
• Participating in activities with the Sligro Culinair Team at various internal or external events.
• Collaborating actively with colleagues across different departments.
• Occasionally assisting in other fresh product departments when needed.

This full-time position involves a five-day workweek, with working days and hours scheduled in mutual agreement.

About You

You enjoy thinking about and preparing delightful food and drinks and are eager to stay abreast of trends and developments. Easily engaging with people, you excite and inspire our customers, ensuring your suggestions lead them to Sligro products. To succeed as a Culinair Adviseur, you should have:

• Extensive experience as a chef in the hospitality industry.
• Strong communication skills, preferably with experience in presenting and demonstrating (which can also be learned on the job).
• A willingness to work Saturdays.
