What are you going to do?

Nedap Retail is rapidly growing and revolutionizing the retail world with its iD Cloud platform. This state-of-the-art technology enables retailers and brands to achieve perfect inventory visibility and create exceptional shopping experiences. Our customer network is expanding internationally, and you can be a part of this growth.

As an international business development professional, you are responsible for enabling the commercial launch of new applications powered by our iD Cloud platform. This involves working directly with existing and new clients to develop the commercial value proposition. You will identify and convert interested retailers into users of our platform. Utilizing RFID technology, you will guide our clients through their journey, maximizing their experience by building business for new services we have launched or will launch in the future.

Your goal is to ensure these retailers become enthusiastic advocates of our platform's benefits to potential clients. Acting as a bridge between engineering and commerce, you will translate technical capabilities into understandable and scalable solutions for customers. This role requires you to operate both strategically and tactically.

Your responsibilities

  • Help commercially develop new value propositions as part of our platform strategy;
  • Identify and target potential fashion retail clients in Europe (existing and/or new users);
  • Create and validate business model and help establish ROI models based on value provided;
  • Estalbish product market fit and help create customer qualification criteria;
  • Develop and execute engagement strategies and educate clients on RFID technology;
  • Generate and manage a pipeline of leads and opportunities using CRM tools;
  • Conduct demonstrations and propose tailored RFID solutions;
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers;
  • Qualify and convert leads into sales opportunities;
  • Testing solutions with international customers.

Your team

You will join a specialized platform sales team. We ensure a warm welcome with a buddy system and a comprehensive onboarding program. Together with your international sales team and buddy, you will define and achieve success, experiencing both personal and professional growth within Nedap. You will work with passionate sales and business development professionals who serve leading international retailers. Highlights include our quarterly international sales meetings where ideas and best practices are shared. Additionally, this role can be fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere.

Required experience and skills

You are an experienced commercial business development professional with a passion for fashion and technology. Besides that, you are tech savvy and have a true hunter mentality and the "figure it out" mindset.

  • At least 4 years of B2B business development experience in software;
  • Fluent in business English (native or fluent in Spanish, French, Italian, or German is a plus);
  • Experience in Enterprise Software Sales;
  • Experience with complex, long sales cycles;
