What you will be doing

During your 12 months with us, you will gain knowledge and experience of analytical methods ensuring our products are safe and effective for human use. You’ll work on anthropometry and sensory capabilities and learn about the effects of stress, workplace design, information and control requirements within human-machine interfaces, and environmental ergonomics.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure our products are safe, operable, accessible, and habitable for effective human use as a Human Factors engineer.
• Support the Human Engineering process by applying specific knowledge and analytical methods covering various Human Factors skills.
• Optimize the interaction between the system/service and its operator.
• Enable operators to fulfil their mission, perform their mission, and achieve their goals whilst being supported within the given operational environment.
• Consider human characteristics (e.g., anthropometry, sensory capabilities) and effects of stress, workplace and workstation design, information display, and control room and interface design requirements.

Skills

Minimum Requirement: You’ll need to be on track to obtain a 2.2 in your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Factors, Ergonomics, Engineering Product Design, or Psychology.

To be considered for this role, you must be returning to University to complete your degree.
